Sausalito Cruise/Drive and Tall Ship Tour

  If it's nice, bring sandwiches and eat at the picnic tables at noon.  If it rains, eat first at home or one of the many restaurants in Sausalito.
• We recommend a visit afterwards on your own to the amazing Bay Model, a short walk away and open until 4.

Directions:  Meet at 1 pm at the Matthew Turner office.  In north Sausalito, turn east from Bridgeway onto Harbor Drive and take the first right onto Marinship Way, just before the Mollie Stone's parking lot.  You'll see a big tent.  Park in the office building lot on the left.  Walk between the building and the tent.  The office is the first door on the left.

Details:  Join the TYC cruising fleet for a day or overnight in Sausalito and visit the Matthew Turner, a tall ship under construction to serve as an experiential learning platform for Bay Area youth. Our private tour will be led by the Head Docent, our own Lon Woodrum.

If you can’t boat in, then drive over.

This is a kid-friendly event specially designed for busy families who would like to get out on their boat (or car), if only for a few hours.  Overnight berthing will be available for our more leisurely cruisers.
