Commodore's Picnic (Sept. 24) and Day or Weekend Cruise

• Boating over:  Sunday, Sept. 18 if possible
• Everyone:  Thursday, Sept. 22.

Food - Drink - Music - Boating!

• Boat over on your boat or another member's.
• Race over on your sailboat and compete for the Commodore's Cruise Trophy.
• Drive over, then take a boat tour of the San Rafael Canal.
• Join Marin YC's paddleboard, Laser and Laser Pico racing.  Borrow a boat/board or bring your own.  See details below.
  

All members and your families are invited to this annual picnic, Saturday, Sept. 24 at Marin Yacht Club.  Food and drink are free to members. Bring a side dish or dessert to share.  Picnic starts at noon.

Skippers - Help get our non-boating members out on the water.  Volunteer to take people over from the Cay, or for a cruise on the Canal after lunch.  RSVP by Sept 17 to be sure of dock space.

MYC Racing and Paddleboarding:  If interested in participating, please indicate when you RSVP, preferably by Mon. Sept. 19 and especially if you would like to borrow a Laser Pico (from Sailing Education Adventures / SEA) or an MYC paddle board.

MYC will try to work all comers into the paddle board racing, which will be less formal than the sailing.  Please BYO paddleboard or Laser if possible.

MYC's BBQ - a different event from TYC's lunch picnic - will be at 5 pm.  Cost will be $5.  Bar will be open.  Please RSVP for MYC's BBQ by 9 am Thursday, Sept. 22.

If borrowing a Pico, a $20 donation to SEA is suggested.
